951年宮中の梨壺の和歌所で万葉集の訓釈と, 後撰集の編纂(ヘンサン)とに携わった五人。 坂上望城(モチキ)・紀時文・大中臣能宣(オオナカトミノヨシノブ)・清原元輔(モトスケ)・源順(シタゴウ)。
